EMPOWERING WOMEN IN RURAL COMMUNITIES

doctHERs uses the power of technology to provide unrestricted access to high quality healthcare in rural communities as well. Early detection and prevention of diseases via regular screenings can help reduce the significant burden of communicable diseases – that is otherwise carried by the public health system.

TRANSFORM – GUDDI BAJI

We assessed the impact of tech-enabled health services and the market demand for over-the-counter and prescription medications. “Guddi Bajis” were entrusted with the handling and distribution of goods to last-mile villagers. These demand-driven services managed to captivate an audience of 1.3 million + beneficiaries.

PROJECT PUNJAB POPULATION INNOVATION FUND (PPIF) – KAR BULAND

Our frontline health workers, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, set out to analyse the effectiveness of a hybrid industry-centric family planning intervention system across 8 districts of Punjab. The objective? Increase awareness and use of contraception among male workers in industrial locations. The result? 20,300 new family planning users – deeming this project a remarkably successful venture.

RURAL THAR PROGRAM – MUHINJO SOHNO THAR

“Muhinjo Sohno Thar'' (My Beautiful Thar) employed the force of technology to allow for the resilience, socioeconomic integration, and gender empowerment of the Thari indigenous people by mitigating the many effects of climate change on the community.

“Transform Health’s initiative aligns with doctHERs where our digital platform (e-health) leveraging our continuum of care model to better align public health outcomes in resource-limited settings like Pakistan. Digital Health Week provides a unique opportunity to ensure we promote, advocate and partake in ensuring at least 50% of patient records in Pakistan are managed electronically by 2030, thereby strengthening health care decision making.”
